On saturday we had a fantastically awesome day snowboarding in brilliant conditions. More on that later though. This is just a short excited post to say it snowed today!!! Everyone (by everyone I mean all the Kiwis at Scion) was giggling madly and running outside to catch snowflakes while those people from northern climes rolled their eyes and made disparaging remarks. It was snowing on and off for about 2 hours, although it wasn't enough to stay on the ground. It is now sunny but a few flecks come down every so often.
There is a storm moving over the country which is supposed to be hanging around for a few days. Hockey tonight is going to be more than a little chilly. I am hoping for more snow overnight, although it is going to be nothing in comparison to what my cousin in Chch woke up to this morning:
